How It Works

At Khize Studio, our design process is a journey of collaboration, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail. We strive to transform your kitchen into the heart of your home, blending functionality and aesthetics to create a space that reflects your unique lifestyle and taste. Here's how we do it:

Initial Consultation

Objective: Understand the client’s needs, preferences, and vision for the kitchen design.
Details:

Discussion of lifestyle, cooking habits, and design preferences.
Site visit to assess the space and take accurate measurements (if applicable).
Identification of any specific requirements or constraints.

Concept Development

Objective: Create a design concept that blends functionality with aesthetics.
Details:

Development of an initial design concept based on the information gathered.
Incorporation of inspiration from surrounding landscapes (e.g., KwaZulu-Natal’s forests or Ballito’s coastal vibes).

Design Presentation

Objective: Present the design concept for client feedback and approval.
Details:

Detailed floor plans and elevations.
3D renderings of the proposed kitchen design.
Material recommendations and samples.

Revisions

Objective: Refine the design based on client feedback.
Details:

Up to two rounds of revisions are included.
Additional revisions are available at an extra cost.

Final Design Package

Objective: Provide a comprehensive design package for client’s contractors.
Details:

Detailed floor plans and elevations.
3D renderings.
Material specifications and sourcing recommendations.
Custom cabinetry and fixture details.
Electrical and plumbing layouts.

Coordination with Contractors

Objective: Ensure a smooth transition from design to execution.
Details:

Provide contractors with all necessary information.
Remain available for questions or clarifications during the installation process.

Post-Installation Consultation

Objective: Review the completed kitchen and address any final touches.
Details:

Conduct a final walkthrough with the client.
Address any adjustments or modifications needed.
